About Us

Bethel Christian School was established in 2024, with our opening school year beginning in 2026. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the rapidly growing Lake Norman, NC, area. At Bethel Christian School, we believe in providing a Christ-centered education that prepares our students for success in all areas of life. Our goal is to help each student develop spiritually, academically, and socially so they can be well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to their communities.

School President: Caleb Sheets

Caleb graduated from King University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He works as a Senior Financial Analyst at General Dynamics and has held multiple financial positions throughout his career. His past experiences include Bookkeeper for a nonprofit, Universal Teller, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Staff Accountant, and Cost Analyst, among others. He played baseball at King University as a Pitcher and was signed to an independent professional league team in 2021. He is highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient. His diverse skills, dedication, and leadership position him well to serve as President of Bethel Christian School.

Campus Designer: Miriam Sheets, NCIDQ, IIDA

Miriam graduated summa cum laude from High Point University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She is a NCIDQ Certified, award-winning Designer and Associate at IA Interior Architects. Her primary focus is corporate workplace, designing offices both nationally and internationally. She enjoys creating beautiful, functional spaces while maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of the end users. She is both creative and technical, with a sharp eye for ADA standards and building codes. Her time management and keen listening skills enable her to reach her personal and professional goals as a designer.

Together, Caleb and Miriam offer a unique blend of educational backgrounds. While they both attended private schools for college, their K-12 experiences were vastly different. Caleb attended public school in Chilhowie, VA, and Miriam was homeschooled in Charlotte, NC. From small town and public school to big city and homeschooled, each perspective brings valuable insight into the way Bethel Christian will be operated and how the Christian textbooks are selected.
