We here at Bethel Christian School are thrilled to provide a new Christian high school to the Lake Norman, NC, area. Our school aims to provide a Bible-based learning environment where students can thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
At our core, we believe in the power of personalized education tailored to each student's unique needs and interests. We envision small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios, allowing for individualized attention and meaningful teacher-student interactions to ensure students reach their full God-given potential. Our curriculum will integrate a biblical worldview into all subject matter, foster critical thinking, promote creativity, and develop a love for learning.
Furthermore, our school will prioritize character development, emotional intelligence, and real-world skills alongside academic excellence. We are committed to creating a diverse and nurturing community where every student feels valued and supported.
To help us bring this vision to fruition, we are seeking funding to cover startup costs, including campus renovations and furniture, curriculum development, technology infrastructure, school and office supplies, insurance costs, legal costs, and hiring exceptional faculty and staff. All non-cash and/or restricted gifts should be discussed in advance with us. We offer advice and provide documentation for all gifts. You should consult tax, legal, and financial advisors, however, to determine the tax implications and deductibility of any gift. Please note that our 501(c)3 tax-exemption application is currently pending with the IRS. This means that all gifts are non-tax-deductible until this is approved. However, the application will likely be approved in the current calendar year, and our tax-exempt status will be backdated to our date of becoming a registered nonprofit in January 2024, which will make all gifts tax-deductible.
